A major problem in education and visual information design is that, while tools to measure people’s reading writing ability with texts numbers are ripe, the properly process from data graphics – an that can be called Visual Information Literacy still off radar, even less interest apparently devoted its evaluation. The purpose of this research presenting exploration methods towards measurement effectiveness efficiency, proposing a definition ‘Visual Literacy’, together model characterizing it as developmental skills progression covers cognitive abilities activated when dealing graphics. final goal paper report first round results assessing validity designed, by bringing statistical evidence comprehension depends on matching users’ difficulty. contribution twofold: comparing current advancing designing for characterization allow scale standard.
